Wow, where to start!!? My dad asked me to make him a belt buckle with 5 coins from the #isleofman where he watched the TT motorcycle races. I begrudgingly accepted - cause he’s my dad. It’s his design, and his crazy idea. But it was a massive challenge. I only have a handheld butane torch, and a bigger handheld butane torch I borrowed from a garage. I had to use both at the same time to heat up the metal enough to get the belt buckle attachments on the back to take. Then I handmade the pins from pieces of wire by melting the ends into balls and hammering the heads flat. They would hold the coins on.
